I was a very shy little boy. At celebrations, I never dared to sing solo, so my parents enrolled me in a folk dance group, where I discovered a new community. Thanks to music, dance, and that team, I finally opened up. At the age of 9, I was cast in the Operetta Theatre’s production of Hello Dolly! as Judit Hernádi’s little assistant, and that’s when my destiny was sealed. From then on, the shy boy could not be removed from the stage.

I believe in what the great Master once said: “Theatre is life.” And I truly believe that “we need theatre,” because it makes life more beautiful. It is such a wonderful feeling to give something of yourself, day after day, through your roles, to the beloved audience sitting in the theatre. Péter Balázs trusted me, and for more than a decade now, he has rewarded me with greater and greater roles.
